The Closed Suction Catheter is an airway management device designed for mechanically ventilated patients to safely remove airway secretions without interrupting ventilator connection. Its core value is to maintain stable airway pressure and reduce the risk of cross-infection, making it a standardized care tool in critical care.

• Patients are allowed to perform sputum aspiration while maintaining mechanical ventilation.
