Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA) is a medical device used to maintain a patent airway for patients, and is widely used in general anesthesia, emergency treatment or difficult airway management. Its design places the mask into the patient's larynx, covering the upper part of the glottis to form a seal, thereby establishing a gas passage and achieving spontaneous breathing or mechanical ventilation.
