The wall thickness of the polyurethane cuff is about 20um, which is 1/5 of the traditional high volume and low pressure endotracheal tube cuff. Therefore, even if the polyurethane cuff is not fully filled, it will not form wrinkles (vertical lines), reduce the micro-inhalation and reduce the occurrence of VAP.
